World Alzheimer’s Day: The Alzheimer Society of Outaouais opens its doors
To mark World Alzheimer’s Day, the Alzheimer Society of Outaouais is opening its doors to the public on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026.
The public is invited to discover the services and resources offered, meet the team, and talk with people who provide daily support to individuals living with neurocognitive disorders and their families.
Two presentations will also be given:
- Major Advances and New Medications for Alzheimer’s Disease
- How to Reduce the Risk of Developing Alzheimer’s Disease
The activities will take place at the Gatineau and Aylmer service points, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Society will also take this opportunity to showcase its new Resource Centre, accessible to the community and offering resources on neurocognitive disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, and cognitive health.
