Samonix project: the BAPE launches its public hearing

The first part of the BAPE public hearing regarding the proposed land-based aquaculture farm in Samonix, in the Pontiac MRC, begins tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th, at 7:00 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the sessions to learn about the project and ask questions. Representatives from Samonix, as well as experts from various government departments and agencies, will be present to answer questions from the public and the commission.

Citizens can participate in person at the Campbell’s Bay Recreation Centre, located at 2 Second Street, or remotely via a webinar accessible on the BAPE website.

The first session will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a second session on Wednesday, August 26th, at 1:30 p.m. A third session may also be added on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m., depending on attendance and the commission’s needs.

This is therefore an opportunity for the citizens of Pontiac to better understand the project and to ask their questions directly to the officials and experts present.
