Rural development roundtable will bring together stakeholders in Gracefield

The challenges and opportunities related to rural development will be the focus of a roundtable discussion to be held in Gracefield on Monday, August 17. The event will bring together local stakeholders and two federal elected officials from the region.

Sophie Chatel, Member of Parliament for Pontiac–Kitigan Zibi and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, will participate in the meeting alongside Pauline Rochefort, Member of Parliament for Nipissing–Timiskaming and Parliamentary Secretary to the Secretary of State for Rural Development.

Scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the meeting aims to provide a forum for stakeholders to discuss key regional priorities in rural development. Discussions are also expected to focus on opportunities to support rural communities and foster their development.

Organized jointly by the two parliamentary secretaries, the roundtable will take place at 5 Polyvalente Street in Gracefield.
