Fishing derby in Île-du-Grand-Calumet

The Île-du-Grand-Calumet Group invites the public to participate in its Fishing Derby, which will take place on Saturday, August 8, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m.

Participants can register in advance online or directly at the municipal wharf, located at 287 Chemin des Outaouais, where access to the water will be free. Prizes of $200 will be awarded for the heaviest fish in each category:

• Children (0–12 years) – $7.50
• Teens (13–17 years) – $12.50
• Adults (18 years and over) – $20

In addition to the competition, the event will feature a BBQ, beverages, door prizes, a 50/50 draw, and trophies.
