83 / 5,000 Inventory of built heritage: the Pontiac MRC tours three municipalities
Over the next few weeks, the Pontiac MRC team will be undertaking a survey of built heritage in the municipalities of Bryson, Campbell’s Bay, and Alleyn-et-Cawood. This initiative aims to document and photograph certain buildings to update the regional inventory of built heritage.
This work will allow for a better understanding, preservation, and promotion of the buildings that reflect the history, identity, and unique character of the Pontiac region. The MRC reminds the public that only exterior observations will be conducted; no interior visits are planned. The students responsible for the project will be clearly identified as members of the MRC team.
Residents who wish to learn more about built heritage and ongoing conservation efforts can visit the MRC website: www.mrcpontiac.qc.ca/resident/patrimoine-bati.
The Pontiac MRC thanks the public for their cooperation in this essential initiative to promote regional heritage.
