An artist from Pontiac selected for the Recycl’Art 2026 Biennial
Professional artist Michèle AimPée Parent, from Fort-Coulonge, has been selected to participate in the 2026 Recycl’Art Biennial, organized by the Centre d’art contemporain de l’Outaouais (CACO). The exhibition will be held from July 4th to August 30, 2026, at Parc du ruisseau de la Brasserie in Gatineau.
For this event, the artist will present Résonances futures (Future Resonances), a sculptural installation created from a log and reclaimed shoes transformed into expressive faces. The work highlights the region’s forest heritage while inviting visitors to reflect on the reuse of objects and the stories they can tell.
The opening will take place on July 4th at 2 p.m. More than 22 artists will participate in this outdoor exhibition dedicated to the reuse and repurposing of materials. Michèle AimPée Parent’s participation in this event underscores the talent of Pontiac artists and contributes to the region’s cultural vibrancy.
