The Pontiac Lions Club invites the public to a fundraising day in Campbell’s Bay
The public is invited to Campbell’s Bay on Saturday, June 27th, for a day of activities organized to benefit the families of Charlie Frost and Steve Morin.
The main event, the Pontiac Lions Show and Shine, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the RA Centre in Campbell’s Bay. Visitors can admire trucks of all sizes, as well as antique and classic cars. A public vote will determine the best big truck and the best car or pickup truck, at a cost of $1 per vote.
The Shawville Lions Club will be on site offering a barbecue with hamburgers and hot dogs. Popcorn and cotton candy will also be served to create a family-friendly atmosphere.
Concurrently, a pickleball tournament will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John’s School, allowing pickleball enthusiasts to participate in the fundraising.
The day will conclude with a steak dinner followed by an evening of dancing, a silent auction, and musical performances by Gail Gavan, the Reg Carkner Band, and Ben Chabot.
Organizers invite residents to bring their families, enjoy the many activities offered throughout the day, and support an important community cause.
All proceeds from this fundraising event will be donated to the families of Charlie Frost and Steve Morin.
