The Gatineau Comedy Festival returns for three evenings of laughter in July
The Gatineau Comedy Festival will return to Place de la Cité from July 2nd to 4th, 2026, for three evenings of outdoor shows featuring renowned comedians, emerging artists, and new voices in Quebec comedy.
The event, which has become a staple of the Outaouais summer cultural calendar, will once again feature an outdoor format, allowing audiences to enjoy performances under the stars in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Organizers indicate that the site will also offer various services for festival-goers, including food options, a bar, and areas designed for audience comfort.
The three-night program will be presented in collaboration with the Maison de la culture de Gatineau and the Salle Odyssée. The shows will take place on Thursday, July 2nd, Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th.
Tickets are already on sale. Day passes start at around $64, while VIP tickets begin at nearly $118. Passes granting access to all three days of the festival are also available.
Over the years, the Gatineau Comedy Festival has established itself as a showcase for both established and up-and-coming Quebec comedians. Organizers say they want to continue this mission by offering a diverse program that appeals to a wide range of audiences.
While the full lineup of guest artists had not yet been announced at the time of writing, the organizers assure that the 2026 program will feature a mix of popular comedians and new talent.
Thousands of festival-goers are expected for this new edition, which will mark the start of the summer season of major cultural gatherings in the region.
