Preventive boil-water advisory still in effect in Campbell’s Bay
The Municipality of Campbell’s Bay is informing residents that the rehabilitation work on the municipal reservoir, as well as the installation of the temporary bypass system, is expected to be completed on May 26th, 2026. Once this work is finished, the temporary bypass will be removed, and water pressure in the municipal distribution system should stabilize and return to normal.
However, the preventive boil‑water advisory remains in effect until further notice, while the required water sampling and quality analyses are carried out in accordance with public health regulations. Until the advisory is officially lifted, residents must continue to boil all water intended for human consumption for at least one minute, including water used for drinking, preparing food, making ice, or preparing infant formula.
The Municipality will notify residents as soon as the preventive boil‑water advisory is lifted. It thanks the community for its patience and cooperation throughout this essential work.
