BiblioCLUB is back for a second summer edition

The BiblioCLUB, an initiative of the Quebec Public Libraries Association, is back for a second summer edition under the theme “Mysteries and Investigations.”

After reaching more than 14,000 children aged 3 to 12 last summer, the program is expanding this year to include teenagers, with activities specially designed for them. The goal is to make reading more fun and accessible during the summer while helping prevent the well‑known “summer slide” in reading skills.

Available in several public libraries across the Outaouais region, BiblioCLUB offers a variety of activities: games, contests, challenges, workshops, and opportunities to discover Quebec and Indigenous authors. Everything is designed to spark imagination through stories filled with mysteries, adventures, and puzzles.

According to a 2025 survey, 65% of parents said the program motivated their children to read more during the summer.
