The Banque Alimentaire Services Entraide (BASE), in collaboration with Saveurs – Épicerie Urbaine, will host the second edition of its charity golf tournament on June 16th at the Château Cartier Golf Club in Aylmer.
Following the success of the first edition, the organizers aim to make this year’s event even bigger, combining networking, fun, and support for a vital cause in the community.
The 2026 edition will be chaired by Julie Moffatt, President and CEO of Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy. Recognized for her community involvement, she will serve as the tournament’s honorary chair.
In a message released by the organizers, Julie Moffatt states that her involvement with La BASE is “first and foremost a matter of conviction,” highlighting the team’s work with a clientele whose needs are growing.
The tournament will take place on Tuesday, June 16th, with a reception scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and a start time at noon. A cocktail reception will follow at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m.
Those interested can participate as players or attend only the dinner. The organizers are also inviting businesses to support the event by becoming partners. Several sponsorship packages are available.
The funds raised will be used to support La BASE’s activities and its assistance to individuals and families in need in Gatineau.
