Economic uncertainty and innovation will be the focus of the SADC Pontiac Annual General Meeting

14 May 2026 à 2:33 pm

The Pontiac SADC’s annual general meeting will be held on June 11th at 5 p.m. at Rafting Momentum.

The event will give participants the opportunity to review the organization’s achievements over the past year, learn about upcoming strategic priorities, and participate in the election of the organization’s board members.

This year, the meeting will also focus on the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the region. Under the theme “Uncertainty and Innovation: Turning Local Challenges into Drivers of Growth,” discussions will center on current economic realities, the labor shortage, and how businesses are adapting to a changing landscape.

The evening will feature a presentation by speaker Roch Fortin, who will discuss how entrepreneurs, organizations, and communities can transform instability into an opportunity for creativity, resilience, and sustainable growth.

The organizers also hope to make this meeting an opportunity for discussion and networking among partners, economic stakeholders, and members of the Pontiac community.

The SADC Pontiac Annual General Meeting will take place on June 11th at 5 p.m. in Bryson.
