Loisir sport Outaouais offers a municipal park inspection service

Loisir sport Outaouais offers municipalities in the region a municipal park inspection service, provided free of charge once a year to its members. This transition period is considered crucial for ensuring the safety and cleanliness of municipal facilities before the summer season.

Services may include site cleanup, playground equipment inspection, wear-and-tear risk assessment, and the addition of safety surfacing materials such as sand and wood chips. Maintenance may also include restoring water fountains to working order, refreshing street furniture, and restocking sandboxes. Normand Veillette of Loisir sport Outaouais:

“At Loisir sport Outaouais, we inspect the playgrounds and make sure of the work to be done right on opening day. We offer this service at $250 for our members and $300 for the non-members. Those interested in this service can contact Normand Veillette at 819-983-1745.”

Due to limited availability during the summer season, organizations are encouraged to reserve their spot as soon as possible by emailing nveillette@urlso.qc.ca. A fee of $750 per additional park applies for any additional inspections.

Loisir sport Outaouais also offers a consulting service to assess the steps needed to ensure compliance and safety in public spaces. This service is available for $250 for members and $300 for non-members.
