Intergénérations Québec kicks off its May activities with Forum en fête

7 May 2026 à 10:33 am

The organization Intergénérations Québec will kick off a series of activities in May with its Forum en fête event, taking place on May 14th at the Centre Québecor.

This annual gathering will focus on intergenerational cohabitation, an issue that is becoming increasingly prominent in Quebec society. Two panel discussions will bring together speakers to address the challenges and solutions related to living together across generations. The event will also feature the presentation of awards for the Intergenerational Initiatives Contest, highlighting inspiring projects from across Quebec.

These activities are part of the lead-up to the Semaine québécoise intergénérationnelle 2026, which will take place from May 17th to 23rd throughout the province. The week aims to promote exchanges between generations and strengthen social solidarity.

Active for more than 30 years, Intergénérations Québec works to bring people of all ages closer together by encouraging the sharing of experiences and knowledge. The organization notes that Quebec Intergenerational Week has been officially recognized by the National Assembly since 2022.

A media area will also be set up during Forum en fête to facilitate exchanges between journalists and participants.
