Fun and creative activities at the Mansfield–Fort-Coulonge library

5 May 2026 à 4:02 pm

The Mansfield–Fort-Coulonge Library is offering a series of varied activities for the community this May, including a Book Bingo for adults and a LEGO Club for all ages.

The Book Bingo invites participants to take on different reading challenges (genres, themes, formats) using a bingo card. By completing a line, they get a chance to win prizes. The activity will take place on May 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on May 25th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library, located at 312 Principale Street. Refreshments will be provided on site. This activity is intended for adults aged 18 and over, with no prerequisites. France Lavoie from the Mansfield–Fort-Coulonge Library shares more details:

“You don’t need to know everything about books to participate. It’s an opportunity to learn about recent books and to have fun. Prizes are available to win, such as games. Beverages will also be offered to participants during these events. Two Book Bingos will be hosted, one during the day and one in the evening to allow access to as many different people as possible. These events are taking place on May 15th and May 25th.”

Meanwhile, the LEGO Club will take place on May 23rd from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Open to everyone, it offers a monthly creative challenge in a friendly and playful atmosphere. Once again, France Lavoie:

“This new event was possible with the help of Les Amis du Pontiac, who have provided the library with LEGOs, which allows the library to start a LEGO club. This activity will be taking place Saturday, May 23rd. During the activity, some challenges to build different sculptures with the blocks will be given. Since this is a new initiative, if anyone has unused LEGOs lying around, they are invited to contact the library to offer them for this activity.”

Registration is recommended for both activities (limited spots available):

These activities offer a great opportunity to have fun, get creative, and make the most of the services offered by the library.
