Traffic Disruptions in the Lac Nilgaut Unorganized Territory (TNO) following severe weather
Due to recent weather conditions, several road closures are affecting the Lac Nilgaut TNO sector. Teams are actively monitoring the situation, and updates will be provided as soon as possible.
🔴 Full road closures (no access)
The following locations are completely closed to all traffic:
- Km 34 – Schyan Road
- Km 54 – Bois Franc Road
- Coulonge East Bridge, near the intersection with Usborne Road
🟠 Partial closures / limited access
Traffic is restricted, and conditions may worsen without notice. Extreme caution is required; access is reserved for ATVs only.
- Km 54.7 – Charrette Crossing
- Cahill / Schyan Crossing at Ranger Creek
- Cahill / Schyan Crossing at Lake Séguin Creek
- Km 97 – Bois Franc Road
- Km 70 – Bois Franc Road
- Km 69 – Bois Franc Road
- Km 34 – Bois Franc Road
- Km 93 – Usborne Road
- Km 59.5 – Usborne Road
- Km 59 – Usborne Road
- Km 51 – Usborne Road
- Km 29 – Usborne Road
- Km 3.8 – Kluke Road (east of Klukeville)
🟢 Minor issues
Minor surface damage is present but does not currently affect traffic. Proceed with caution.
- Km 49 – Schyan Road
- Km 44.5 – Usborne Road
- Km 25 – Usborne Road
Please avoid all closed roads and respect posted signage and barricades. This helps ensure the safety of everyone, including emergency services and public works crews. Truck traffic is strongly advised to stay off these roads, as heavy vehicles can quickly cause significant damage. Use these routes only if absolutely necessary.
