Summer Job at the Municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes: public works position

The Municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes is offering a seasonal public works job for the summer of 2026. The position will begin around the end of June 2026 and will last approximately 8 to 9 weeks, for about 30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends. The hourly wage offered is $16.60.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old, have attended school full-time during the current school year, and plan to return to school in the fall, either at the secondary or post-secondary level.

Main duties include supporting the public works department (general maintenance, lawn mowing, signage) as well as assisting at the municipal transfer site. A valid driver’s license and bilingualism are considered assets.
