Colorful nights at the Canadian Museum of Nature
The Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa is launching a brand-new season of its popular Nature Nocturne evenings—adult-only events that transform the museum into a vibrant, immersive nightlife experience after hours.
For the 2026–2027 season, four themed evenings are planned, each inspired by the new special exhibition Vivid Colour, which explores the role of colour in nature.
The season kicks off on June 5th, 2026, with Colour Collective, where guests are invited to wear a colour of their choice. The museum will be transformed into themed colour zones featuring three dance floors, DJs, performances, interactive activities, and even a silent disco in the Rotunda.
Upcoming events include:
- August 7th, 2026: Golden Hour, a summer evening inspired by sunset lighting and warm tones
- October 30th, 2026: Black & White Ball, a special Halloween edition focused on elegance and contrast
- February 5th, 2027: Lux Borealis, an immersive experience inspired by the northern lights and bioluminescence
According to the museum, Nature Nocturne has already attracted more than 110,000 participants since its launch and continues to evolve with unique concepts where no two evenings are the same.
Tickets are on sale now for approximately $42, and events run from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa.
A series of evenings promising a cultural experience that is completely unlike a traditional museum visit.
