The Jardin Éducatif du Pontiac is hiring a camp counselor for summer 2026

The Jardin Éducatif du Pontiac is currently seeking camp counselors for its summer day camp for youth aged 12 to 17. The camp offers a unique experience focused on ecological market gardening, combining learning, creative activities, and group engagement.

Successful candidates will be responsible for supervising a group of about ten youth, leading a variety of activities—recreational, psychosocial, and agricultural—and collaborating with community support workers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and demonstrate autonomy, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work as part of a team. Education or studies in a field related to teaching or social intervention (such as education, social work, psychoeducation, etc.), as well as experience working with youth, are strong assets. Bilingualism and an interest in working outdoors are also considered important.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) running from June 22nd to August 21st, 2026. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
