The Municipality of Sheenboro is looking for a young candidate to join its public works team this summer. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors while helping maintain local roads and municipal infrastructure.
The position includes a variety of tasks such as road and ditch maintenance, cleaning public spaces, clearing vegetation, as well as some painting and basic office work.
Requirements:
Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years old and returning to full-time studies in fall 2026. The candidate must be reliable, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks. A valid driver’s licence is an asset.
Job details:
Duration: 8 weeks, 35 hours per week, starting June 29th, 2026
Wage: $16.60/hour
