The Municipality of Thorne is inviting residents to take advantage of a free large household item drop-off service, which will take place on May 16th and 17th, 2026, at the waste management site.

This initiative aims to make it easier for households to declutter while ensuring the responsible disposal of certain bulky items.

Accepted items:
Residents may bring items such as beds and mattresses, chairs and couches, carpets, refrigerators, and freezers.

Please note that construction and demolition debris will not be accepted.

This event provides residents with an opportunity to dispose of large items in a simple, free, and environmentally friendly way.
