A dance night in support of the Alzheimer Society Outaouais.

The community is invited to lace up their dancing shoes for a good cause at the “Danse ta vie” event, organized in support of the Alzheimer Society Outaouais. This festive and charitable evening will take place on Friday, May 29th at the Papineauville Community Centre.

Open to everyone, the activity aims to bring together people of all ages through dance, while supporting individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease and their families. The organizers hope to offer a welcoming experience where every participant can contribute to the cause, regardless of their skill level or interest in dance.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a “dance-a-thon” segment featuring various activities, including dance fitness, line dancing, Zumba, and hip-hop. Participants will be invited to move to the rhythm of the music until 8 p.m. in a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

The celebration will then continue with a dance party hosted by a mobile DJ from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., allowing participants to extend the fun in a festive setting.

Ticket prices have been designed to remain accessible to all: $25 for adults, $12 for children aged 5 to 12, while toddlers aged 0 to 4 can attend for free.

Through this initiative, the organizers hope to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease while also collecting essential funds to support services offered in the Outaouais region.
