A portal to check real-time gas prices

Since April 1st, Quebec motorists can view live gas prices at all service stations across the province through the new Régie Essence Québec portal. Unlike apps such as GasBuddy, the information comes directly from retailers, who are legally required to report any price changes.

The data appears on the interactive map within five minutes of an adjustment at the pump. Designed to be simple and mobile-friendly, the tool allows users to quickly compare prices for regular, premium, and diesel fuel.

The Régie de l’énergie emphasizes that this system is unique in Canada and aims to enhance transparency and shopping convenience for consumers, while including a reporting mechanism if displayed prices differ from those at the pump.
