Training for caregivers in the Outaouais region
The Alzheimer Societies of Quebec are offering this spring a series of training activities for caregivers to help them better understand neurocognitive disorders and support their loved ones safely. Each module costs $35 and covers specific topics tailored to participants’ needs.

Adapting the home environment

- Gatineau group: from April 20th to May 4th, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Training for residential care professionals
A free training program, offered through the Ministry of Health and Social Services, is also available for professionals working in private seniors’ residences (RPA), intermediate resources (RI), and family-type resources (RTF). It aims to improve understanding of neurocognitive disorders and provide practical tools for better supporting residents.
