Tim Hortons Recalls Cups After Several Incidents, Including a Burn Injury
Tim Hortons is recalling more than 25,000 ceramic mugs sold between January 15 and February 18, 2026, following 28 reported incidents, including one burn caused by a cracked mug.
The affected product is a 16 oz pink and white mug featuring a chocolate donut design that changes color when filled with a hot beverage, revealing one of four donut patterns.
According to Health Canada, these mugs may crack or break when exposed to heat, posing a risk of burns to users.
Customers who have this product are advised to return it to a Tim Hortons restaurant by April 22, 2026, to receive a full refund. Returns will also be accepted after that date.
As a precaution, Tim Hortons recommends that customers stop using the mugs until they are returned.
