The Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi of the Pontiac (CJEP) is organizing the 4th edition of its Virtual Summer Job Fair, which will take place on April 29th, 2026. This online event aims to connect young people in the Pontiac region with local employers seeking seasonal workers.

Through this virtual platform, participants will be able to explore various job openings, communicate directly with employers, and receive personalized advice on how to prepare their applications.

The Job Fair is primarily aimed at students and young workers looking to secure a summer job in a variety of sectors, ranging from hospitality to retail and community services.

Nathalie Dupont of CJEP gives us all the details:

“The Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi of the Pontiac (CJEP) invites employers of the region to participate in the 4th edition of the annual Summer Job Fair on April 29th, 2026, to start planning their needs for student workers. This event is important as it helps the youth of the Pontiac develop their job search skills. The Fair will be broadcast in all high school and professional education establishments of the region. Employers interested to take part in this free event are to contact the CJEP before April 8th, 2026.”

This initiative makes recruiting easier while providing young people with an accessible and safe opportunity to enter the workforce without having to travel.

Registration is free and now open at the Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi of the Pontiac. For more information, those who are interested can contact the CJEP via its website or by phone at (819) 648-5065.
