The Pontiac educational community is being invited to take part in the Co-Building for Thriving Youth Forum, scheduled for March 27, 2026, at the Campbell’s Bay Community Centre. Inspired and led by young people, the event will bring together students, parents, community organizations, school staff, elected officials and health professionals.
The forum aims to foster collective reflection on issues related to the health, well-being and educational success of youth aged 12 to 17. Discussions will draw in part on findings from the 2022–2023 Quebec High School Students Health Survey (enquête québécoise sur la santé des jeunes du secondaire).
Participants will be invited to:
-
Identify the key challenges facing young people in the Pontiac
-
Highlight inspiring local initiatives already making a difference
-
Imagine innovative projects to support youth health and academic success
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a meal will be provided for all attendees. Free transportation will also be available for registered students and parents.
