Pontiac schools closed for Wednesday, March 11

The Centre de services scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO) and the Western Québec School Board have announced the cancellation of school transportation and the suspension of classes for March 11 due to difficult weather conditions caused by freezing rain.

The decision was made on the afternoon of March 10th to ensure the safety of students and school staff, as roads and sidewalks could become particularly slippery in several parts of the region.

Both school networks say that schools will remain closed for the day. As a result, all scheduled school and extracurricular activities have also been cancelled.
