Mansfield Announces the Winners of Its 2025 Christmas Decorations Contest
During the holiday season, the Municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract held its traditional outdoor decorations contest and invited all residents to take part. Along the way, a change was made to how the contest was conducted.
The municipality had received an invitation from The Equity newspaper to publish photos of the participants’ displays and allow its subscribers to vote for their favourite decorations. However, the Municipality of Mansfield was later informed that the newspaper was ultimately unable to promote the project.
To ensure a fair and harmonious process, the contest committee selected a panel of five independent judges:
-
François Carrier, Editor of Le Droit and Director of Philanthropy Development
-
Pierre Cyr, Mayor of the Village of Fort-Coulonge
-
The Arsenault and Tellier families, residents of Mansfield
-
Tracy Francoeur, Business Advisor at the SADC
-
Pierre Saint-Cyr
Mayor Sandra Armstrong confirmed to CHIP that participation was excellent this year and that several prizes were awarded.
