The Knights of Columbus Christmas Drive Returns on December 12th

6 November 2025 à 1:15 pm

The holiday season is fast approaching, bringing with it a strong tradition of community solidarity: the Fort-Coulonge Knights of Columbus Christmas Food Drive, which will take place on Thursday, December 12th

Each year, this important initiative helps support families in need and brings comfort to those for whom the holiday season can be more difficult. The Knights of Columbus, supported by numerous volunteers, will be going door-to-door to collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations to prepare generous Christmas baskets for families in the region.

Knight and event organizer Ken Hobbs explained:

“It’s a long-standing tradition in Fort-Coulonge and Mansfield, and it’s an opportunity for everyone to show generosity and solidarity. Every small gesture counts — a can of food, a package of pasta, a cash donation… all of it helps make a big difference for a family in our community,” said Ken Hobbs once again.

Donations can also be dropped off directly at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fort-Coulonge on December 12th after 4:00 p.m. The organizers also remind residents that volunteers are always welcome — help is still actively needed.

So, on December 12, open your door and your heart. Together, let’s make this Christmas food drive a true symbol of sharing and hope for our community.
