Alzheimer Society of Outaouais Marks National Caregivers Week

Alzheimer Society of Outaouais Marks National Caregivers Week

3 November 2025 à 1:06 pm

From November 2 to 8, the Alzheimer Society of Outaouais joins the rest of Quebec in honoring, recognizing, and supporting those who care for a loved one living with a neurocognitive disorder or another health condition. Being a caregiver means giving selflessly. It means being present, even in silence. It means showing daily acts of tenderness, courage, and compassion.

During this week, the ASO invites you to visit their website to explore activities and workshops designed for caregivers. Alexandra Bouchard, Family Advisor, provides all the details:

This year, the theme “United by & for Caregivers,” proposed by Appui proches aidants, celebrates this invisible yet very real strength—the one that connects hearts, actions, and quiet presence. During this week, let us take the time to thank a caregiver in our lives. Together, we can acknowledge their extraordinary commitment and continue to help preserve cherished memories.
