November: Financial Literacy Month – Free Webinars Offered
In honor of Financial Literacy Month, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and four other government partners are offering a series of free webinars every Wednesday this November. Experts from the AMF, Revenu Québec, Retraite Québec, the Office de la protection du consommateur (OPC), and the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) will lead four online sessions, open to everyone.
These webinars cover a wide range of topics across different stages of life, making them relevant for young people just entering the workforce as well as for workers seeking tools to better plan for retirement.
The webinars will take place during lunchtime (12:00–1:00 p.m.) on November 5, 12, 19, and 26.

Financial literacy—which you’ll hear mentioned frequently in November—is the ability to apply one’s knowledge to manage personal finances effectively and make sound financial decisions.
