Waltham Election: End of Odette Godin’s Term, Beginning of Jordan Evans’ Mayoralty
Facing notable opposition within the municipality of Waltham, Mayor Odette Godin (65 votes) was defeated, receiving less than 28% of the vote. Jordan Evans (173 votes) won the majority support of local voters and will now assume the role of mayor.
With a voter turnout of more than 65% — one of the highest in Quebec — Waltham residents sent a clear message. It is worth noting that Ms. Godin was serving her first term as mayor.
