Joanne Ralston Elected Mayor of Bryson

Joanne Ralston will succeed Alain Gagnon, who chose not to seek re-election, as the new mayor of Bryson. The municipality’s three-way race made the outcome far from certain. Outgoing councillor Ralston (136 votes) faced Eric Harrington and fellow outgoing councillor Jian Zhang (32 votes).

In the end, Bryson’s new mayor secured 12 more votes than her closest rival, Eric Harrington, who received 126 votes.
