In a recent interview, Saint-Cyr laid out his economic vision for the MRC, putting a strong focus on the role of local municipalities. He believes communities across the region should play a much larger part in shaping their own economic development, arguing that the path to growth starts with grassroots decision-making.
Best known as the former owner of the Davidson Sawmill, and still one of the site’s co-owners, Saint-Cyr says his experience in local industry gives him a clear understanding of the region’s challenges and potential. He shared his hopes and priorities for the Pontiac over the next four years if elected.
