Homelessness Awareness Night Returns for Its 36th Edition

Homelessness Awareness Night is an event aimed at raising awareness about homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion. Since 1989, people have gathered on the third Friday of October each year to show solidarity. Adréanne Provost-Auger, event organizer with the Outaouais Regional Collective for Combating Homelessness, explains:

A night dedicated to highlighting the realities of life on the streets. The event will take place on October 17, starting at 5 p.m. at Parc Sainte-Bernadette. People experiencing homelessness, community partners, and local residents are all invited to this awareness and engagement event. Le Gîte Ami will also be on site with its famous hot dog stand!
