Survey to Support the Establishment of a Retirement Home in Pontiac
Villa James Shaw, a project aimed at establishing a retirement residence in Pontiac—specifically in Shawville—is calling on residents to take part in a telephone survey. In recent days, a polling firm hired by the organization has been contacting citizens to gather data on the needs of Pontiac residents in relation to the creation of a retirement home.
The organization’s president, David Gillespie, is urging residents to participate in order to help Villa James Shaw collect a significant amount of information.
David Gillespie emphasized that this type of initiative is essential to persuade government ministries and eventually secure public funding. The organization, which has been active for several years, stated that this operation is necessary to strengthen the credibility of its current efforts.
