Alleyn-et-Cawood Election: A Familiar Scenario

Voters in Alleyn-et-Cawood are facing a familiar scenario in the upcoming municipal elections. Incumbent mayor Carl Mayer is seeking a fourth consecutive term. Once again, he will be challenged by former councillor Sidney Squitti, marking their third electoral face-off (2017, 2021).

In the most recent election, Mr. Squitti received 34% of the vote (62 votes), compared with just over 65% for Carl Mayer (116 votes). Candidates have until October 3 to submit their nominations.
