Linda Davis Announces Bid for Mayor of Shawville

Just hours after the opening of the nomination period for the upcoming municipal elections on November 2, several candidates across the Pontiac have already stepped forward. In the coming days, CHIP 101.9 will provide an overview of the races in the various municipalities.

In Shawville, Mayor Bill McCleary is expected to face a challenge from Linda Davis, who announced her intention to run. Davis was a candidate for Warden of the MRC Pontiac in 2017 and previously served as a municipal councillor in Ottawa.

The nomination period runs from September 19 until October 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
