Jane Toller Confirms Bid for Re-election as MRC Pontiac Warden
As announced on air by CHIP 101.9 last Wednesday (September 17), Jane Toller officially confirmed on Friday that she will be running for re-election as Warden of the MRC Pontiac.
After stating in July that she would not seek a third term, Toller says she received numerous reactions from residents encouraging her to change her mind. She did so by inviting Pontiac print media to cover the announcement, which had not yet been published. CHIP 101.9 also took the opportunity to learn more about her decision.
Jane Toller has long been recognized for her many ideas and initiatives. This election is expected to be no different: in a five-minute interview, she already touched on about a dozen files and topics.
So far, two Campbell’s Bay municipal councillors—Josey Bouchard and Jean-Pierre Landry—have announced their intentions to run.
