Comedy Show in Fort-Coulonge to Benefit Parc des Chutes Coulonge

Parc des Chutes Coulonge is inviting the public to a special comedy night on September 26 at 7 p.m. at the Cinéma Lyn in Fort-Coulonge, featuring one of the country’s top comedians. The evening is a fundraising event in support of the Chutes Coulonge.

The featured performer will be none other than Derek Séguin. Known across Canada for his sharp wit and hilarious observations of everyday life, Séguin promises an evening full of laughter.

His performance in the Pontiac has been made possible thanks to a $2,500 contribution from CHIP 101.9’s Chase the Ace fund. Derek Séguin also gave a preview of what audiences can expect during the show.

“You’ll hear stories about the crazy things my kids do, and about my wife, who sometimes gets on my nerves. She will be there, so I’ll focus on the kids’ stories instead.”

Derek Séguin has been part of the comedy scene for 22 years. Over the course of his career, he has won the prestigious Just for Laughs Homegrown Comic Competition as well as the title of Champion on CBC’s The Debaters Live tour.

In addition to his upcoming show in Fort-Coulonge on September 26, Derek has several other performances scheduled in Eastern Canada. Once again, here’s Derek Séguin:

I’m kicking off the second part of my 2025 tour in October. I’ll be performing in Eastern Canada, including Montreal and Ottawa, before heading to the Maritimes—New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.”
