Public Notice of Election Issued in Fort-Coulonge

With municipal elections fast approaching, the Municipality of the Village of Fort-Coulonge has released its official election notice. In the announcement, returning officer Pierre Vaillancourt states that the position of mayor and four council seats are open.

Interested candidates may submit their nominations between September 19 and October 3. If more than one person seeks the same position, an election will be held. Advance polling is scheduled for October 26, while the province-wide municipal general election will take place on Sunday, November 2.
