Police recover stolen vehicle in Bryson, man arrested

Police from the local Sûreté du Québec detatchment arrested a man in Bryson on Sunday morning (July 27), after they were called about a stolen vehicle.

According to SQ spokesperson Sgt. Marc Tessier, police were called at around 7 a.m. regarding a possible stolen vehicle at a residence on rue Wellington in Bryson. Officers confirmed the vehicle had been stolen, and obtained warrants for the residence. When they were secured, police seized the vehicle and arrested a 35 year-old man for breach of probation.

Tessier said that the man would likely appear at the Campbell’s Bay courthouse today.

Tessier did not provide details about where the man was from, or about the vehicle.
