No Pontiac Bloc candidate named yet

While the majority of Bloc Québécois candidates have been selected and announced for the upcoming federal election, they still have yet to announce a candidate for the riding of Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi.

According to information obtained by CHIP 101.9, a few people have already been approached but declined.

The party finished third in the last two elections in the riding, with over 16% of the vote. The nomination period ends on Monday, April 7, and the final list will be available on April 9, via the Elections Canada website.
