L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet will mark Quebec’s Fête nationale this Saturday June 25 at the Centre des Loisirs, located at 138 chemin des Outaouais. Activities available will include children’s programming, bingo and performances from local musicians. One of the organizers, Tyler La Salle, invited the whole Pontiac to take part in the island’s celebration.

“Yes, that’s right, so it’s taking place on June 25 starting at 11:30 a.m. We’re going to have an old car show in the ball field, a bingo,” he said (translated). “We also have a The Price is Right activity that will take place under the tent. We have activities for children, so inflatable structures, face painting. We will also have relay races and all kinds of other activities during the day for children and adults. Yes, so in the evening, we will have Justin Bertrand who will be on stage, we will have Maxime Galand as well as Francine Aubrey and André Boisvert.”
