“Wilson: When I was like five or six, I started playing violin and then about a year after that, I started taking fiddle lessons with Louis Schryer and step dance lessons with Rhodina Turner.
Lucie: I am 9 and I started when I was four years old and same as Wilson, I started a year after playing fiddle and step dancing. I’m from Chapeau Quebec and I go to school in Chapeau at DWKS, Dr. Wilbert Keon School. I like to play music because I like the fact that you get to play for everybody.”
“I think it sort of started, it kind of just organically has come from the kids YouTube page, you know, that they have, The Fiddlaires. And the feedback we received from that is just been all positive. And I think just through them learning all these tunes and, you know, kind of getting out there through COVID, again, it was just one of those projects to kind of like, for them to work hard towards. They practised and the chance to work with Bryan Hebert as the producer.”
