Sous le thème « interconnexion / interconnection », 7 artistes-graveurs et un vidéaste de l’Outaouais invitent la population à un événement de grande envergure qui se tiendra à Shawville le 22 août ou le 23, en cas de pluie. Le public pourra voir l’encrage de grandes plaques de bois, leur placement, puis l’impression à l’aide d’un rouleau compresseur de 5 tonnes. Les estampes obtenues seront exposées dans la rue, puis parcourront le Québec dans différentes galeries d’art. Cet événement est rendu possible grâce au soutien du Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, du Journal du Pontiac et du Bulletin d’Aylmer, et de la Municipalité de Shawville.

Gathered under the theme « interconnection / interconnection », 7 artist-engravers and a video artist from the Outaouais region invite the population to a large-scale event that will be held in Shawville on August 22nd or 23rd, in case of rain. The public will be able to see the inking of large wooden plates, their placement, and then the printing with a 5-ton steamroller. The resulting prints will be exhibited in the street and will then travel throughout Quebec in various art galleries. This event is made possible thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Journal du Pontiac and the Bulletin d’Aylmer, and the Municipality of Shawville.
