La communauté se mobilise pour sauver le Café Downtown à Fort-Coulonge – Community Rallies to Save Café Downtown in Fort-Coulonge

Un groupe de citoyens se mobilise afin de préserver un commerce précieux de notre communauté, le Café Downtown. Les résidents de Fort-Coulonge, Mansfield et des municipalités avoisinantes qui souhaitent s’impliquer sont invités à participer à cette rencontre, qui se tiendra au Club de l’Âge d’Or de Fort-Coulonge

Un conseiller de la Coopérative de développement régional Outaouais-Laurentides (CDROL) sera présent afin de nous informer de la démarche à entreprendre et des différentes options possibles. Les participants auront la chance de s’exprimer et de s’impliquer en joignant, par exemple, uncomité provisoire qui sera formé sur place.
Nous espérons une réponse de la population à la hauteur de ce projet d’importance pour notre vie sociale et pour le développement touristique de la région. Nous sommes convaincus que ce projet rassembleur intéressera les jeunes de notre communauté à qui nous lançons une invitation spéciale.

A group of citizens is mobilizing to preserve a valued local business in our community, the Café Downtown. Residents of Fort-Coulonge, Mansfield and surrounding municipalities who are interested in getting involved are invited to attend this meeting, which will take place at the Golden Age Club in Fort-Coulonge

An advisor from the Coopérative de développement régional Outaouais–Laurentides (CDROL) will be present to outline the steps involved and the various options available. Participants will have the opportunity to share their views and become actively involved, including by joining a provisional committee that will be formed on site.

Organizers hope for a strong community response to this important initiative, which plays a key role in the region’s social life and tourism development. They are confident that this unifying project will resonate with many residents and extend a special invitation to the youth of the community to take part.
