Des membres du OGPC se sont inspirés de l’adage « Une image vaut mille mots » pour créer les œuvres exposées. Ils ont choisi un poème, un proverbe, un adage, ou des vers et ont créé une estampe originale. Les œuvres présentent un vaste éventail de techniques de gravure, traditionnelles ou contemporaines, y compris la linogravure, l’éco-impression et l’eau-forte.

Printer’s Ink: How many words make a picture? – Ottawa-Gatineau Printmakers Connective (OGPC)

Artists from the OGPC were inspired by the adage « A picture is worth a thousand words » to create these works. They chose a poem, a proverb, an adage, or verses and created an original print. A variety of printmaking techniques ranging from traditional to contemporary including linocuts, eco-printing, etching and others.
