The Knights of Columbus Council 7221 donated several sums of money this weekend to support different causes in the community.

The Knights awarded $2,500 in scholarships, $3,000 to the Center des loisirs des Draveurs for the arena and $500 to the Maison de la Famille du Pontiac.

Unable to pay funds last year due to the pandemic and given the cessation of indoor bingo at the Parish Hall, the Knights of Columbus Council 7221 now benefits from a partnership with CHIP 101.9 for the broadcast of a bingo on Thursday evenings. This partnership, the surpluses of which are donated to the Knights of Columbus, has allowed the organization to be active again and even to greatly increase the funds derived from their bingo activity.
